About Me

My name is Jean Michel Catanho. I’m a Computer Science student, game developer, amateur astronomer and musician. I’m currently working as a junior analyst developer at Globo.com.

I mostly work with C++, Go, Lua and Python for desktop based applications and Unity3D (along with C#) for general game development. Right now I’m working on the 1.0.0 version of Iris, an open source raytracer and planning a game release on Play Store.

Despite focusing my work and my studies in game development and computer graphics, I’m also very interested and open to learn about other topics both inside and outside Computer Science. I have plans to improve my knowledge on multithreading and my music related skills.
